INNNOVATING EUROPE SCHOOL

              The project “INNOVATING EUROPE SCHOOL” is trying to make the participant familiar with the intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and the respect towards differences. We want to make our school and the classes that students and teachers spend together more attractive and to initiate common activities which should lead to the “broadening of everybody’s minds”. We have proposed to:
              - arrange an “European Park” in each town of each participant school, with flowers, grass, and trees within the framework of Biology classes;
              - learn an Project Anthem, which we will sing at the Music classes and then to put it  on a common CD;
              - organize a common exhibition of caricatures with the theme “The Ideal European”, drawn at the Drawing classes, which should highlighten the specific features for each nation in a satirical way;
              - create a VIRTUAL MUSEUM where each partner should expose their cultural and artistic values, within the ICT classes;
              - create the bilingual selection of proverbs and popular learnings which illustrate tolerance and respect towards the less fortunate, which will be emphasized during the literature classes. (both in mother tongue and English);
              - accomplish the Ecumenical Calender with all the the important Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and reciprocally congratulate students of different religions  on  the occasion of their specific holidays;
              - organize the Tour of Tolerance at the Religion and Civics classes;
              - organise the meal for the poor during a week at the Parish by our students who will bring food from home, will cook and also serve lunch to the poor.
